High-Risk Health Coverage for New Hampshire Residents


The New Hampshire Health Plan (NHHP) is a non-profit organization. NHHP provides health coverage under state statute to New Hampshire residents who otherwise may have trouble obtaining insurance.


NHHP-FED is a Federal high risk pool program established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide access to affordable health coverage for the uninsured, regardless of health condition. It is administered for HHS by New Hampshire Health Plan.

NHHP coverages are available to any New Hampshire resident who meets eligiblity requirements.

Consumer Assistance Program

NHHP published two Requests for Proposal (RFP) for the provisioning of assistance to consumers using the state's health benefits marketplace (Marketplace) starting October 1, 2013.
